Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Andres Aguinaldo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Carlos Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Aguinaldo throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Aguinaldo misses with an uppercut
and Gracie counters with a thumping low kick.
Aguinaldo punishes Gracie's body with a nice straight punch.
Aguinaldo lands with a cross.
It looks like Carlos Gracie has been cut.
Aguinaldo takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Aguinaldo lands a nice hook to Gracie's body. Gracie takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

Gracie tries to land a front kick but Aguinaldo steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.

Aguinaldo shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Gracie as he jumps to the side.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Andres Aguinaldo. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Aguinaldo throws a shot from downtown. Gracie moves away and avoids it.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Aguinaldo throws out a loose jab but Gracie uses good head movement to avoid it.

A lazy left from Aguinaldo finds it's target.
Aguinaldo shoots in for a takedown but Gracie shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Aguinaldo just misses with a punch to the body.
Aguinaldo drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Aguinaldo looks up at the clock and then as Gracie takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Aguinaldo smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
The cut above Carlos Gracie's eye is starting to cause him problems now.

Aguinaldo wants to control but Gracie is keeping him busy.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.
Aguinaldo is looking to take a break and control but Gracie is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Aguinaldo goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Gracie rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Aguinaldo's guard! Nice work there by Gracie!
Aguinaldo working for a triangle but Gracie defends it easily.
Gracie postures up in Aguinaldo's guard and throws a big left but Aguinaldo blocks it.

Aguinaldo working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Gracie doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Gracie manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Aguinaldo keeping moving, preventing Gracie from controlling successfully.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Aguinaldo controls Gracie momentarily but Gracie frees himself.
Aguinaldo lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Gracie!

Gracie sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.
Gracie wants to get back to full guard.
Aguinaldo thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Gracie's head.
Aguinaldo looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Aguinaldo wants to pass to mount but Gracie is defending the position.
Aguinaldo wants to take a breather but Gracie is having none of it.

Aguinaldo seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
