The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lee shoots in for a takedown but Pakanaana shows good takedown defense.
Jakkimak Pakanaana seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Lee closes the distance and clinches up with Pakanaana, looking for a takedown. Lee pushes Pakanaana against the cage but Pakanaana circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Antonio Ferrozo Lee. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Lee closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
You can see the frustration on Pakanaana's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Lee has an Americana. Pakanaana didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Lee is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Lee hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
