The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Skywalker moves away from the strike by Kann.
Skywalker throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Kann counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Skywalker thinking.
Skywalker swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Kann ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Skywalker moves forwards but Kann connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Kann throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Skywalker misses with a jab, cross combination.
Skywalker fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Skywalker.

Skywalker tries to clinch but Kann is having none of it.
The fighters circling - Skywalker throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Skywalker stuns Kann with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Kann moves out of range as Skywalker throws a body kick.
Skywalker takes a swing at Kann's ribcage but misses.
Kann lands a right hook to the body.
Kann ducks under a wild hook from Skywalker.
Kann fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Skywalker manages to avoid it.

Skywalker lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Kann misses with an uppercut. Skywalker saw that one coming.
Skywalker has Kann up against the cage in a clinch.
With the two fighters working up against the cage, Skywalker just misses with a elbow thrown towards Kann's brow.
Kann manages to pull guard.

Kann lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Skywalker!

Skywalker on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Skywalker tries to get out of the position.

Kann looking to ground and pound but Skywalker is blocking nicely.
Kann sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!
Kann has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Skywalker is desperately trying to improve his position but Kann has a good base and remains in mount.
Kann unloads with some shots from mount but Skywalker bucks and avoids them well.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Skywalker knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Kann on the ground.

Kann misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.
Kann loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have Skywalker scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from Kann land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. Kann stands and salutes the crowd.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:37 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Keast Kann!
