Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between John Silver (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Theokoles Batiatus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Batiatus has chosen Heart of a Champion as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Batiatus has a pretty significant injury - he really shouldn't be fighting right now but he's a warrior and he's here none the less! John Silver has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemäki, Marco Blurström and Tarja Halkonen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silver shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Silver was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Batiatus looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Silver looking to control and managing it successfully.
Silver is standing up, even though he is in mount.

John Silver seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Silver misses with a wild combination.

Silver manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Batiatus on his heels. He'll look to pass Batiatus's guard now, I'm sure.
Silver sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Batiatus's guard.
Silver is figuring out what he wants to do next.
Silver decides to stand up.
Silver drives through and clinches with Batiatus against the cage.
Silver manages to break the clinch.
Silver fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Batiatus, pushing him back against the cage.
Silver has Batiatus pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Batiatus manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Silver drops down looking for an ankle pick but Batiatus pulls his leg out and moves away.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Silver fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Batiatus, pushing him back against the cage.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Silver has Batiatus pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Silver pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Batiatus tumbling to the mat - Silver dives into Batiatus's guard.
Silver postures up in Batiatus's guard and throws a big left but Batiatus blocks it.
Batiatus is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Silver is controlling him.
Silver stays in close to Batiatus's body and controls the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
The ref stands the fighters back up because John Silver just wasn't active enough.
Silver changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Batiatus looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Silver just content to control the position.
Batiatus should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Silver tries for a kimura but Batiatus is defending well.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Silver looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Silver decides to stand back up. Silver steps back and let's Batiatus get back to his feet.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Batiatus slips a jab and a cross from Silver.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Silver darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Silver looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Batiatus with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Batiatus is breathing heavily.
Silver is figuring out what he wants to do next.

Batiatus wants to get back to his feet.

Silver throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Batiatus tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Silver is in Batiatus's guard.
Silver seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Silver lands a couple of decent looking shots.
Silver drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Silver as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Batiatus screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Silver! Nice submission victory there!
