The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Yukihiro Shimada and Yukihiro Yamamoto.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Spiegel will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Faulk wants to clinch up but Spiegel keeps it at a distance.
Spiegel will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Faulk throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Spiegel.
