Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Raoul Duke (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ron Kane (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Duke's entrance music is Pillz. A fine choice. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kane lands with an overhand left.
Duke chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Kane can pounce on him.
Duke takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.

Kane gets tackled into the ropes by Duke. Duke maintains the clinch.
An uppercut to the body lands inside from Kane.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Kane breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Kane.
Duke moves out of range of the leg kick from Kane.
Kane tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Duke swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.

Duke with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Kane to score with a decent uppercut.

Duke utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

Duke will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Kane lands a couple of decent looking shots.

Duke has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Kane can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Duke motions for Kane to come forward. Duke throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Kane throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.

and Kane connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Kane blocks a head kick by Duke.
Kane lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
Kane throws a looping overhand right but Duke ducks down to avoid it.
Duke tries to close the distance and clinch up against the ropes but Kane paws at him with a jab and circles away.
A looping hook to the body misses from Kane. Duke does a little dance to reset his feet.
Kane displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Duke throws out the jab.
Kane misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Kane slips a straight right by Duke.
The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Kane. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Kane lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Duke has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Duke and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Kane dives in and grabs Duke's left leg, looking for a takedown. Duke pushes down on Kane's head and hops out.

The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!

Duke thows a body shot but no joy.

Duke gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Kane is working Duke over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

Kane is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
Duke is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Ron Kane has got the better of the ground game so far.
Kane working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.

Duke looks like he's trying to stand up.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Kane looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Duke with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Duke gets back to full guard.

Kane throwing strikes but missing.
Duke avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.

Kane stands and throws Duke's legs to the side, diving into side control.

Kane postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Duke wants to control but Kane postures up.

Duke can't do much from the bottom here.

I think Kane has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
