Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Stop Acta (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dale Rossi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rossi has chosen Heavy Metal! as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rossi scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
Rossi tries for a takedown but Acta sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Acta tries to move into range but Rossi moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Acta throws a sloppy head kick and Rossi moves out of range easily.
Rossi blocks the body kick.
Left hook, right uppercut from Rossi.
Rossi misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Rossi throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
Acta tries to clinch but Rossi moves out of range.
A punch combination from Rossi misses.
Rossi looks gassed!

Rossi has managed to clinch.
Rossi prevents Acta from breaking the clinch.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Rossi keeps control of Acta as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Acta tries to pull guard but Rossi won't allow it.
Acta is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Rossi pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Rossi prevents Acta from breaking the clinch.
Acta scores with a knee to the head.
Acta fails to pull the fight into his guard.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Stop Acta. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Acta's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Acta shoots in and drives through. Rossi sprawls well.
Acta fails with an attempt to clinch.
Acta lands a high kick!
Acta shoots in for a takedown but Rossi shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Acta tries for a takedown but Rossi circles away easily
and Rossi counters with an inside leg kick.
Acta tries to clinch but Rossi moves out of range.
Acta tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Acta misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Rossi moves into the clinch successfully.

Rossi pulls Acta into guard.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Acta is looking to stand up but Rossi won't let him.
Acta wants to pass the guard but Rossi is keeping the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Acta trying to control the position from guard on top but Rossi is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Rossi is looking to stand up but Acta isn't so interested in that idea.
Acta trying to control but Rossi is working from the bottom.
Acta is pushing down on Rossi's leg trying to pass to half guard. Rossi is fighting to maintain full guard but Acta has managed to sneak the leg through.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Rossi is refusing to be controlled, as Acta sits in half guard.
Acta frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Acta has hold of Rossi's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Rossi manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Rossi really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Acta. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Acta goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Rossi turns into him and now he's in Acta's guard.
Rossi with a nice head shot there.

Rossi is posturing up here but Acta has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Rossi tries to roll out but it's too tight and Rossi has to tap! Slick submission there by Acta!
