The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McGaleb fails with an attempt to clinch.
McGaleb is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Day gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily

and McGaleb moves into the clinch.

McGaleb's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
McGaleb keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Day takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?

and McGaleb counters with a nice double leg into guard.

McGaleb jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Day manages to avoid the submission attempt.

Day regains half guard there - taking advantage of McGaleb's attempt to lay and pray for a moment.
Day is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of McGaleb's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take McGaleb's back!

McGaleb is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick!
