Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Juho Pennanen!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Angel Pain!
The judges for this bout are Ivan Kurochkin, Valeri Chadov and Dmitry Maklakov.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pain is looking to clinch but Pennanen is avoiding it.

Pain scores with a takedown into Pennanen's guard.
Pain trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Pennanen looking to hit a scissor sweep but Pain is one step ahead there.
Pennanen has control of Pain's left arm, preventing Pain from doing any damage.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Pain had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Pennanen is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Pain Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Pennanen's back instead.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Pennanen is on top in guard.
Pain wants to get back to his feet but Pennanen is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Pennanen is fighting to break Pain's control of his arms but Pain is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.

That was a close second round but I would say that Juho Pennanen will probably get the nod.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! And we move into the final round!

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Pain bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Pennanen's guard.

I would just about give that final round to Angel Pain.
Well Pain has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
