The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pierre throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Kovatch.
Pierre looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Pierre stuffs the takedown.
Pierre throws a sloppy head kick and Kovatch moves out of range easily.
Kovatch fails to land the takedown.
Pierre throws a head kick that misses.
Kovatch closes the distance and clinches up with Pierre, looking for a takedown. Kovatch pushes Pierre against the cage but Pierre circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Lucky Pierre has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bruno Kovatch.
Kovatch shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Pierre but Pierre pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Pierre throws a leg kick which misses Kovatch's front leg but catches the back leg as Kovatch tries to avoid it.

Kovatch cracks Pierre with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Pierre looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Kovatch finish him?

Oh Pierre is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Nice takedown defense from Pierre. No joy for Kovatch on that attempt.

Kovatch drives through with a takedown into guard.

Kovatch stands up and waves to Pierre to follow him.
Kovatch circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Pierre to the canvas! Pierre doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Kovatch keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!
