Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Joerome Strong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Erlenmeyer Flask (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Strong moves out of range of the leg kick from Flask.
Strong tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

A clash of legs there as Strong blocks the low kick.
Strong tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Flask manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Strong closes the distance but Flask moves to the side
and Flask counters by moving into the clinch.

It looks like Erlenmeyer Flask has been cut.
Flask pushes off an throws an elbow but Strong leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.

Good anti-grappling being displayed by Strong as Flask tries to tie him up.
Flask tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Strong avoids it.

Flask pushes Strong back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
Strong throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Flask blocks it with crossed arms.

Flask is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.
Flask struggles to land a body shot inside as Strong controls his hands.
Flask takes a knee to the side of the body.
Flask is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Strong is keeping busy.
Flask stalling in the clinch.
Strong escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Joerome Strong seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Strong keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
Flask takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Strong tests Flask's chin there with a solid looking shot.
That has opened up Erlenmeyer Flask's cut even more.
Flask circles away from the clinch attempt.
Strong lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Strong lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Flask circles away quickly and effectively.
Strong throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
A head kick from Strong lands but Flask takes it in his stride.
The cut above Erlenmeyer Flask's eye is starting to cause him problems now.

Strong is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Flask swats away the attempt to clinch by Strong.

Flask feints and as Strong raises his hands in defense, Flask changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

Flask trying to control the position from guard on top but Strong is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Erlenmeyer Flask was stalling too much, according to the referee.
Flask misses with a low kick.
Strong checks the leg kick.
A low kick from Flask is predictable there
and Strong counters with a one-two to the body.
Erlenmeyer Flask's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Erlenmeyer Flask's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
