Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jean Marceau (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Matt Still (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Still has chosen Laveerre - Kaasupää as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Jean Marceau!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 24 - 12 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, Matt Still!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Marceau feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Still's calf.
Still blocks a head kick by Marceau.
Marceau shoots in for a takedown but Still shows good takedown defense.
Marceau throws out a leg kick but Still moves out of range and Marceau only half commits.
Marceau looks to land a body kick but Still moved away.
Marceau defending well as Still loads up on a big left hand.
Marceau scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Marceau throws the kick towards the body but Still avoids it.
Marceau gets off balance looking for a body kick
and Still makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

Marceau swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Marceau finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
A chopping leg kick lands by Marceau.
Marceau tries to land a front kick but Still steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Still swings for the body but Marceau moves out of range.
Marceau dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Still. That did some damage!
The fighters circling - Still throws out the jab but it was never going to land.

Still moves out of range as Marceau throws a body kick.

and Still counters with a leg kick.

Marceau throws a push kick but Still slaps the foot to one side.

Jean Marceau is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Still bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Marceau's head backwards.

Marceau looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.

Marceau is looking to control Still's arms but Still gets an underhook and turns him. Now Marceau has his back to the cage.
Matt Still seems to be working more effectively in the clinch in the fight so far.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Still is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Marceau doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Still.

Still fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Marceau avoids it really well and circles away.
Marceau shoots for a takedown but Still saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Marceau gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
A decent looking body kick lands there for Marceau.

A slapping leg kick lands for Marceau.
Still finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Still attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
Marceau fakes the leg kick and cracks Still in the body.
Marceau throws a low kick but Still moves out of range easily.
Still throws a jab but it's blocked by Marceau.

And that's the end of the fight!
That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Jean Marceau.
I think Marceau has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
