PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Pentti Ali (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Keivan Straikker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ali has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Straikker throws a quick inside leg kick.
A left lands for Ali.
Straikker misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Ali.
Ali takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Ali is breathing heavily.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Ali has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Straikker.

Straikker lands a big head kick that sends Ali tumbling to the mat! Straikker takes a step backwards and waves Ali back to his feet - he wants the finish!

It looks like Pentti Ali has been cut.
Straikker misses with a looping right.
Straikker throws a series of punches but Ali avoids them all with ease.
Straikker throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Ali sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Keivan Straikker seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Straikker lands a nice leg kick that just misses Ali's sensitive parts.
Ali defending well as Straikker loads up on a big left hand.
Straikker takes a swing at Ali's ribcage but misses.
Straikker connects with a body shot.

Straikker has managed to clinch.
Straikker scores with a shot to the side of Ali's head.
Straikker is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Ali is defending well for now.
Straikker tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Ali avoids it.

Straikker breaks the clinch.
Straikker misses with an uppercut. Ali saw that one coming.
Ali chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Straikker can pounce on him.
Straikker scores with a body shot.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Straikker throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.
Straikker connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Ali takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.

Straikker drops Ali with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Ali looks back up at him and smiles so Straikker waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Ali is rocked!
Ali takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
Oh Ali is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Straikker fakes the body blow, causing Ali to drop his hands! Left hook to the temple! Ali goes stiff, and falls face first into the mat. Goodnight!
