Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Esko Cifra (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Anthony Kraszer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Cifra might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Asher. Esko Cifra has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Esko Cifra!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Anthony Kraszer!
The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Paulsen Ambrosius and Paul Aken.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kraszer connects with the punch.

Cifra fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Kraszer to the ground. Cifra is now in Kraszer's guard.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.

Kraszer had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Cifra defends it easily.
Cifra wants to stand but Kraszer is controlling his posture from full guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Cifra wants to control from the top but Kraszer keeps moving.
Cifra is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Kraszer is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

Kraszer is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Cifra has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Cifra wants to get up but he can't break Kraszer's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Esko Cifra just wasn't active enough.
Kraszer cracks Cifra with a good jab.


It looks like Esko Cifra has been cut.

Kraszer darts in and clinches Cifra up against the cage.
Cifra gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.
Cifra drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Kraszer lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.

Cifra breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Cifra keeps the fight on the outside.
A looping hook to the body misses from Kraszer. Cifra does a little dance to reset his feet.
Cifra avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
No joy there for Kraszer, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Cifra.
Cifra shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Kraszer as he jumps to the side.

Nice sprawl there from Cifra as Kraszer shoots in.

Cifra throws a nice inside leg kick.
Kraszer looks gassed!

Cifra shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Kraszer manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Cifra wants to control from the top but Kraszer keeps moving.
Cifra knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Kraszer on the ground.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Cifra stops Kraszer from standing up.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Cifra stays in close to Kraszer's body and controls the position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Anthony Kraszer dominated that round.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Cifra looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Kraszer!

Cifra can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Kraszer is looking to escape.

Kraszer is trying to reverse the position but instead Cifra has taken his back - oops!
Cifra is trying to control but Kraszer is trying to escape here - he's now mounted.
Kraszer is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Esko Cifra overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Cifra cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Cifra controlling the position easily from mount.
Cifra lands a nice shot to the head.
Kraszer is squirming around, avoiding Cifra's attempts to control the action.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Cifra landing strikes from the mount and Kraszer is in trouble!
Cifra throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Kraszer because Cifra loaded up on that one.

Cifra swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Kraszer is now in Cifra's guard. A big mistake from Cifra there, giving up the dominant position!

Kraszer avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Kraszer stands up and waves to Cifra to follow him.
Nice takedown defense from Cifra. No joy for Kraszer on that attempt.
Kraszer is breathing heavily.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Cifra manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Kraszer on his heels. He'll look to pass Kraszer's guard now, I'm sure.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Cifra seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. And we move into the final round!


Cifra wants to clinch up but Kraszer keeps it at a distance.
Cifra shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Cifra chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Kraszer moves in looking to clinch but Cifra pushes him off.

Cifra closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Cifra is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Kraszer is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Kraszer is not content to let Cifra control the position.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Cifra wants to take a breather but Kraszer manages to regain guard - a lesson learnt for Cifra.

Kraszer working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Cifra doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Cifra manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Cifra won't allow Kraszer to get back to his feet.
Cifra wants to stand but Kraszer has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

Cifra passes Kraszer's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Cifra is taking a breather. Kraszer says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Cifra wants to take a breather but Kraszer is having none of it.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Esko Cifra wasn't doing enough on the ground.

Cifra clinches with his opponent.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Kraszer blocks a body shot from Cifra.
Cifra lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
Kraszer is trying to break free.

Cifra's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Cifra throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Kraszer.
Kraszer throws a series of punches but Cifra avoids them all with ease.
Kraszer throws a hook to the side of Cifra's head but Cifra sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Kraszer takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Cifra clinches.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Esko Cifra showed his dominance in that final round.
