Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Toby Evans (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Yuri Gagarin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gagarin has chosen Necro - Death Rap as his entrance music. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gagarin ducks right into an uppercut from Evans.
Evans swings for the body but Gagarin moves out of range.
Evans circles away from the clinch attempt
and Evans counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Gagarin fails with the takedown.
Evans stuns Gagarin with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Yuri Gagarin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Gagarin takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Evans throws a good cross that connects.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Evans keeps the fight on the outside.
Evans looks to score with a jab to the body but Gagarin is just out of range.
Gagarin looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Gagarin tries to clinch but Evans moves away
and Evans counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
It looks like Yuri Gagarin has been cut.
Gagarin fails with the takedown
and Evans counters with a crisp right that sends Gagarin to the canvas! Evans follows up with punches from the mount and this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:46 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Toby Evans!
Toby Evans spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
