PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Aragorn Arathorm (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cj Penn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Arathorm might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Aragorn Soundtrack. Cj Penn will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Cj Penn!
The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, Winston Howard and Donatello Bradman.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Arathorm ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Nice body punch from Penn.
Penn misses with a leg kick.
Arathorm slips a straight right by Penn.
Penn jabs Arathorm to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Penn throws a solid leg kick but Arathorm takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Penn.
Penn throws a looping overhand right but Arathorm ducks down to avoid it.

Arathorm shoots in and bounces Penn off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Arathorm throwing strikes from guard but Penn blocks nicely.
Penn really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Arathorm. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Arathorm drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Arathorm jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Arathorm drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Arathorm as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Penn screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Arathorm! Nice submission victory there!
