The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Strauss throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped

and Montain counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

Strauss wants to take the fight to the mat but Montain manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.

Emerson Montain has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Johan Strauss.
