Vasuta kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is E.S. Posthumus Unstoppable . Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Itaev will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Vasuta is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Itaev's half guard.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

Vasuta is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

Vasuta is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Itaev is just riding it out for now. Vasuta eventually gives up the hold.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Vasuta has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Itaev defend it? Vasuta steps over the head and cranks it - Itaev is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Vasuta!
