The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Offembach feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.

Offembach has Kopylov pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Offembach pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Kopylov tumbling to the mat - Offembach dives into Kopylov's guard.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

A momentary lapse in concentration from Kopylov enables Offembach to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Kopylov manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Offembach is looking to stand up but Kopylov isn't so interested in that idea.

Offembach pushes Kopylov off and scrambles back to his feet.

Offembach shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Offembach was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Offembach loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have Kopylov scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from Offembach land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. Offembach stands and salutes the crowd.
