The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Feitosa shoots in but no luck this time.
Damiao pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Leandro Damiao seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Damiao's jab looks to have found its range, popping Feitosa under the eye.

Damiao clinches up with Feitosa and pushes him back against the cage.

Damiao escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Damiao tries to close the distance and clinch but Feitosa swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

It looks like Arturo Feitosa has been cut.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Feitosa shoots in for a takedown but Damiao shows good takedown defense.
Damiao misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Feitosa fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Leandro Damiao has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Arturo Feitosa.
Damiao lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.

Feitosa is rocked!

Damiao pushes Feitosa up against the cage in a clinch.

Damiao escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Damiao closes the distance and lands a crisp combination that knocks Feitosa out cold! Feitosa corner are devastated, head in hands behind our commentary position. Poor guys.
