Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Magzhan Magzhanbai (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Anto Mrvelj (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mrvelj shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Magzhanbai eats them both and turns towards Mrvelj to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Magzhanbai looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Mrvelj tries for a takedown but Magzhanbai sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Mrvelj is looking to clinch but Magzhanbai is avoiding it.
Magzhanbai tries to close the distance and clinch up but Mrvelj swats him away and circles back towards the center.

A telegraphed takedown attempt from Mrvelj is defended easily by Magzhanbai.
Magzhan Magzhanbai has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Anto Mrvelj.
Mrvelj pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Magzhanbai back to the cage. Mrvelj follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.

Mrvelj motions for Magzhanbai to come forward. Mrvelj throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Mrvelj lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Magzhanbai has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Magzhanbai and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Mrvelj scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Mrvelj throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Magzhanbai stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Magzhanbai is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Mrvelj pulls his head out easily.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
