And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 19 - 17 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Goncalo Alves!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Fraser, as that shot connected.
Alves throws an overhand right that lands on Fraser's shoulder, as Fraser tries to avoid the shot.
Fraser ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Fraser throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Alves.
Alves moves out of range as Fraser strikes.
Fraser takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Alves takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Fraser catches Alves with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Fraser connects with a crisp jab.
Fraser throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Alves counters with a nice kick to the body.
Alves drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.

Fraser clinches.
Alves is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
Alves wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Fraser lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Alves.
Fraser tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.

Fraser escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Alves swings away with a leg kick that misses.
Alves slips under a jab.
Fraser fails to land with a series of punches.
Fraser tries to clinch but Alves moves out of range.
Alves lands a really nice looking cross but Fraser seems unphased.
Fraser bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Alves's head backwards.
Alves throws a solid leg kick but Fraser takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Alves.
Alves throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Alves uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Fraser.
Fraser takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Fraser wants to clinch up but Alves keeps it at a distance.
Fraser misses the shot to the body.
Fraser throws a right and a left that Alves avoids nicely.
Alves throws out a leg kick but Fraser moves out of range and Alves only half commits.
Fraser swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Fraser tries to bum rush Alves with a series of wild strikes but Alves uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Fraser misses with a body shot.
Fraser looks to land a right hand but Alves moved out of range.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Fraser checks a leg kick.
A clash of legs there as Fraser blocks the low kick.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Fraser closes the distance and clinches.
Fraser is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Fraser.
Alves is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
Fraser lands with a right to the head.
An uppercut to the body lands inside from Fraser.
Fraser lands a nice uppercut.
Fraser lands an uppercut.
Alves has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Fraser lands a hook to the side of the head.
Fraser dips a shoulder and cracks Alves with a mighty uppercut! Alves falls back against the cage and Fraser unloads with a barrage of strikes! Alves is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Fraser screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:08 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Donald Fraser!
A relieved looking Donald Fraser thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
