PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Harry Sonofabeetch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Princess Bride (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sonofabeetch comes to the cage accompanied by the theme from the x files. Bride has chosen Holy Wars...The Punishment Due as his entrance music. Princess Bride told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bride throws a hook but Sonofabeetch blocks it.
Sonofabeetch rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Bride moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Sonofabeetch misses with a double jab
and Bride counters with a one-two to the body.
Bride tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Sonofabeetch was well out of range. Poor timing from Bride.
The fight stays on the outside here - Sonofabeetch looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Sonofabeetch scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.

Sonofabeetch tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Sonofabeetch is trying to ground and pound but Bride uses the momentary lack of control by Sonofabeetch to regain half guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Sonofabeetch looks to land a strike but Bride avoids it nicely and regains full guard.
Sonofabeetch is looking to work some ground and pound but Bride has wrist control.
Bride avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Sonofabeetch wants to control from the top but Bride keeps moving.

Sonofabeetch drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Sonofabeetch seems to have locked his on tight now - Bride screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Sonofabeetch, as he picks up the win!
