Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Marc Van Helder (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Martin Van Drunen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Van Drunen has chosen Out of the Body as his entrance music. Martin Van Drunen told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Marc Van Helder!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Martin Van Drunen!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Paul Aken and Radbod Blank.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Van Helder throws a series of punches but Van Drunen avoids them all with ease.
Van Drunen blocks a head kick by Van Helder.
Van Helder tries to clinch but Van Drunen moves away

and Van Drunen decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Van Helder's guard.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Van Drunen prevents Van Helder from getting back to his feet.
Van Drunen trying to control but Van Helder is working from the bottom.
Van Drunen pushes down on Van Helder's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Van Helder is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Van Helder kicks Van Drunen off and gets back to his feet.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Van Helder is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Van Drunen is keeping busy.

Van Helder is trying to break the clinch but Van Drunen is controlling him.

Van Drunen blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
Van Helder lands a knee to the head there! That was nasty!
Van Helder trying to control the position but instead, Van Drunen has worked for underhooks and has pushed Van Helder into the cage.
Van Helder's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.
Van Helder has had enough of the clinch but Van Drunen keeps him there for the moment.

Van Helder wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Van Drunen has him pressed against the cage.
Van Helder prevents the takedown attempt.

Van Drunen gets a trip takedown into half guard.
Van Helder tries to kick Van Drunen off but Van Drunen keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Van Drunen passes the guard and advances to mount!

It looks like Marc Van Helder has been cut.
Whack. That's a big, big shot from Van Drunen! Van Helder is out cold! This one is all over!

Martin Van Drunen tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
