Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kabal Kill (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Voitto Puhti (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kabal Kill could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Voitto Puhti's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Puhti has Kill up against the cage in a clinch.

Puhti pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Puhti throws a right and a left that both miss.
Puhti shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Kill shoots in looking for a takedown but Puhti manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Kill's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Puhti shoots in for a double leg but Kill sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Puhti lunges at Kill with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Kill's hand.
Puhti uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Kill.
Puhti displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Kill.
Kill doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Puhti counters with a nice body shot.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kabal Kill. That's going to take a lot out of him.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Kill shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Puhti is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Kill's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Kill's back!

Puhti is persistently looking for the submission but Kill is defending it well.
Puhti is trying to stick to Kill's back but Kill is turning into Puhti. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Puhti's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Kill.

Puhti looking for a guillotine here but Kill defends easily.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Kill stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Puhti swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Puhti keeping moving, preventing Kill from controlling successfully.

Kill drops back looking for a leg! Puhti is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Puhti manages to kick Kill off! Kill jumps back into Puhti's guard.

Puhti looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Kill throws a big elbow that misses.

Kill drops back looking for a leg! Puhti is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Puhti manages to kick Kill off! Kill jumps back into Puhti's guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Kill is pushing down on Puhti's leg trying to pass to half guard. Puhti is fighting to maintain full guard but Kill has managed to sneak the leg through.

Kill seems to be working for a kimura but Puhti defends the submission attempt.

Puhti looking for submissions off his back.
Puhti is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Kill is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Kill wants to lay and pray for a moment but Puhti keeps working.
Puhti is pressing down on Kill's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Puhti is on top in guard.
Puhti throws a big right hand that misses.
Puhti trying to control the position from guard on top but Kill is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Kill working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Puhti doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Puhti manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Kill looking for a guillotine here but Puhti defends easily.

Puhti is sitting in close to Kill's body. Kill has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Puhti is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Puhti is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Kill.
