Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Roger Lin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brian Puffer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Brian Puffer will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Roger Lin!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Brian Puffer!
The judges for this bout are Thiago Cunha, Daniel Cesar and Seu Braga.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lin dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Lin throws a body punch but Puffer moves out of range.
Puffer lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Lin takes a kick to the side of the head.
Puffer lands with a thumping leg kick.

Lin shoots in and bounces Puffer off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Puffer utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Lin throws a big elbow that misses.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Puffer wants to get back to his feet but Lin is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Lin in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Puffer wants to stand up but Lin is controlling him.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Lin throws an elbow that misses. Puffer uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Lin's guard. Nice move by Puffer!
Lin looking to hit a scissor sweep but Puffer is one step ahead there.

Brian Puffer has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.
Puffer feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Lin's calf.
Puffer slips a jab and a cross from Lin.
Puffer plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!
Puffer throws a sloppy head kick and Lin moves out of range easily.
Lin shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Puffer but Puffer pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Puffer stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Puffer wants it to stay on the feet.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Lin swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Puffer ducks under a wild hook from Lin.
Lin throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Puffer looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Puffer lands a nice leg kick that just misses Lin's sensitive parts.
Puffer throws a head kick that Lin semi-blocks.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Lin misses with a wild combination.
Puffer circles to his right before unloading a perfect head kick! Lin drops to the canvas, hurt badly! Puffer follows Lin to the ground and unloads with a series of strikes that force the referee to step in and end the fight! This one is all over!
