The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Petrov looks for a takedown but Rublev sprawls well.
Petrov swats away the attempt to clinch by Rublev.
Rublev shoots for a takedown but Petrov saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Petrov drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Petrov lands an elbow.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Petrov in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows.

Petrov is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Rublev looks calm but he's in trouble here. Petrov gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Rublev is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Petrov lets go of the hold and Rublev can pop his arm back in it's socket.
