Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Irvine Mallory (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Snow Villiers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Irvine Mallory!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Snow Villiers!
The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, Winston Howard and Bruno Hogan.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Some wild striking there from Villiers.
Mallory misses with a double jab

and Villiers counters with a single leg into guard. Mallory didn't expect that.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Villiers tries to free his leg and advance position but Mallory is retaining full guard.
Villiers not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

Villiers decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Mallory, up you get!

Villiers darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Villiers perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Villiers is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Villiers looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Let's hope that Villiers has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Mallory is trying to stand up here but Villiers is controlling him well.
Mallory knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Villiers on the ground.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Snow Villiers hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Mallory lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Villiers circles away quickly and effectively.
Mallory clobbers Villiers with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Mallory misses with a two punch combination.

Villiers gets a double leg takedown into Mallory's guard.
Mallory being controlled here, momentarily.
Villiers stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Mallory swivels though and keeps the full guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Villiers stays in close to Mallory's body and controls the position.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Snow Villiers was stalling too much, according to the referee.
Mallory scores with a head kick.

Villiers shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Mallory is trying to defend but Villiers finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Mallory is breathing heavily.
Mallory tries to get to full guard but Villiers has control of the leg.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Mallory won't allow Villiers to pass to mount.
Villiers throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Villiers stalling.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Mallory avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Villiers.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Snow Villiers dominated that round.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.


Mallory avoids the head kick by Villiers.
Villiers takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Mallory throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Villiers's head.


It looks like Snow Villiers has been cut.
Villiers avoids a punch combination nicely.
Mallory swings widly with a right hand

and Villiers counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Mallory's guard now.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Villiers showing good wrestling skills to control the position.

Villiers stands up from Mallory's guard - Villiers perhaps looking for a knockout.
Mallory throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Mallory lands a really nice looking cross but Villiers seems unphased.


Villiers is rocked!
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Mallory connects with a jab, followed by a picture perfect straight right that sends Villiers to the canvas, out cold! What a finish by Mallory!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:08 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Irvine Mallory!
