Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Winston Howard, Damien Edna and Skip Squint.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Reardon throws a nice looking combination but Gibbons bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
A solid body kick from Gibbons.
Reardon looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Reardon lands a slapping body shot.
Gibbons throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Reardon was covering up waiting for the punch and Gibbons finishes the takedown easily into guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Gibbons got a little sloppy there for a moment and Reardon has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Gibbons has managed to get both his arms back between Reardon's legs - danger averted.

and Gibbons counters with a crisp one two that drops Reardon! Gibbons thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Reardon to his feet! Reardon is in big trouble!

Gibbons cracks Reardon with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Gibbons has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Reardon to stand back up!

Reardon seems to have recovered his senses.

Reardon changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Gibbons tries to avoid it but Reardon manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Gibbons to the ground. Gibbons escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Reardon throws a strike but Gibbons rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Gibbons controls the pace of the fight for a moment.

Gibbons stands up from Reardon's guard - Gibbons perhaps looking for a knockout.
Gibbons avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Reardon ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Gibbons moves away.

Reardon shoots for a double leg takedown but Gibbons sprawls well. He's pushed Reardon's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

That was a close second round but I would say that Duke Gibbons will probably get the nod.
