Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Math Rastafari (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sad Sak (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sad Sak is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 16 - 8 - 0, fighting out of London, Math Rastafari!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Sad Sak!
The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Colin Fotheringham and Richard Clark.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rastafari cracks Sak with a right hand to the side of the head.
Rastafari slaps away a takedown attempt from Sak, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Sak uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Rastafari.

Rastafari rushes Sak and presses him up against the cage.
A quick uppercut on the inside from Rastafari.
Rastafari tries to land a knee to the head but Sak blocks with his arms.
Rastafari stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.
Sak has Rastafari pressed against the cage, preventing Rastafari from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
A frustrated look appears on Rastafari's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Sak stalling.
Rastafari is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Sak is defending well for now.
Rastafari stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.

Both fighters working to control the clinch.
Rastafari tries to work over Sak's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.

Sak's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.

Sak takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Rastafari misses with a head kick.

Rastafari clinches.

Rastafari breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Rastafari moves into the clinch successfully.
Sak trying to control the position but instead, Rastafari has worked for underhooks and has pushed Sak into the cage.

Rastafari breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Rastafari fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
A left lands for Rastafari.
Rastafari throws a hook to the side of Sak's head but Sak sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Sak shoots in and drives through. Rastafari sprawls well.
Rastafari scores with a jab to the jaw.

Rastafari pushes Sak up against the cage in a clinch.
A nice right hand lands inside from Rastafari.

Sak is struggling to control the position.
Both fighters working to control the clinch.
The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
The ref breaks the fighters up, due to lack of action by Sad Sak.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Sak wants to stall.
Sak stalling the fight.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Rastafari is trying to force a seperation but Sak has the dominant position.
A short right from Rastafari on the inside.
Rastafari lands a shoulder strike.
Sak has Rastafari pressed against the cage, preventing Rastafari from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Math Rastafari dominated that round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!


Rastafari rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Sak moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Sak takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Rastafari lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Rastafari's jab looks to have found its range, popping Sak under the eye.
Sak slips a straight right by Rastafari.

and Rastafari counters with a stiff right hand.


Sak is rocked!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Rastafari cracks Sak with an uppercut from hell and Sak crumples to the canvas, he's out! Oh no, he's recovered and he's grabbed one of Rastafari's legs and pulled him into guard. The ref thought about stopping it there but he's let it go - good reffing!
Sak is still in real trouble! Can Rastafari finish him?

Sak is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Rastafari defends well.
Rastafari works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Sak seems to have recovered his senses.
Sak is staying active underneath Rastafari, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Rastafari has decided to stand back up but his arm is trapped. Whilst he's worrying about his arm, Sak works to full guard.

Rastafari with a flurry of punches that miss.
Rastafari throws a big right hand that misses.
Sak is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Rastafari is controlling Sak's trapped leg to prevent Sak from advancing to side control.
Rastafari is trying to escape back to his feet but Sak uses the scramble to pass into side control.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Sak tries to land with some ground and pound but misses.
The ground and pound from Sak seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.

Sak wants to control but Rastafari is keeping him busy.
Rastafari dodges the ground and pound from Sak.
Rastafari is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Sak can do to turn this around?

Sak is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Rastafari knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Rastafari is looking to reverse the position.
Rastafari is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.

Rastafari tries to roll over but Sak keeps him under control.
Rastafari is trying to stand.

Sak content to control rather than advance.
Rastafari is looking to improve his position.

Rastafari keeping hold of Sak's head, controlling as best he can.
Rastafari is not content to let Sak control the position.
Sak has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.

Rastafari closes the distance and pushes Sak back into the cage.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Math Rastafari dominated that second round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!


Sak shoots in for a double leg but Rastafari sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Rastafari stuffs the takedown attempt from Sak. Sak gets slowly back to his feet.
Rastafari misses with a straight left.

Rastafari darts in and clinches Sak up against the cage.
Rastafari misses with a body punch.
Sak is trying to maintain a safe position but Rastafari gets an underhook and turns Sak into the cage.
Sak just leaning against Rastafari, taking a breather.

Sak blocks a punch to the side of the head.

The ref breaks the fighters up, due to lack of action by Sad Sak.

Math Rastafari is winning the standup battle so far.
Rastafari misses with a double jab.
Rastafari walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Sak checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Rastafari swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Rastafari has closed the distance and engaged Sak in a clinch.

Rastafari breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Rastafari scores with a jab to the head.
A clash of legs there as Sak blocks the low kick.
Rastafari throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Sak sees it coming and avoids it easily.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Sak throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Rastafari's waist but Rastafari gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Sak off to one side.
Math Rastafari has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Sad Sak.

Sak scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
Rastafari is trying to maintain the position but Sak is very close to passing his half guard.
Sad Sak has got the better of the ground game so far.
Sak wants to pass the guard but Rastafari is defending well.
Rastafari is trying to stand back up but Sak is controlling him
Rastafari tries to get to full guard but Sak has control of the leg.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Sak thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Rastafari's head.

Sak is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Rastafari looks like he's trying to stand up.
Sak trying to control the action but Rastafari is working from the bottom.
Rastafari might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Sak passes to side control.
Sak tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.
Sad Sak has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Sak prevents Rastafari from escaping the position.
Math Rastafari is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
The ground and pound from Sak seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.
Rastafari parries the strikes from Sak easily there. Sak is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Rastafari to escape.
Sak postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

And that's the end of the fight!
I would just about give that final round to Sad Sak.
I think Rastafari has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
