Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Bjj Spar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Skoal Citrus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the ring.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the featherweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 21 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Skoal Citrus!
The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Paulsen Ambrosius and Patrick Alders.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Citrus throws a body punch but Spar moves out of range.
Spar fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Citrus throws a right and a left that Spar avoids nicely.
Spar shoots in but Citrus avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Citrus misses with a few strikes there.

A looping hook to the body misses from Spar. Citrus does a little dance to reset his feet.
Citrus throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Spar.
Citrus lands a body shot.

Citrus on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Spar. Spar obviously looking to wear him down.
Citrus stalks Spar and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Spar's face. Spar staggers backwards, shaken.
Citrus connects with a nice looking jab.

Citrus thows a body shot but no joy.
Spar throws a solid leg kick but Citrus takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Spar.

Spar throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Citrus was covering up waiting for the punch and Spar finishes the takedown easily into guard.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

Spar postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.

Citrus working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Spar doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Spar manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
