And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, John The Bomber!
The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Arvi Lind and Anni Minnemäki.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The Bomber with a lazy takedown attempt
and Stackhouse counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
The Bomber shoots and misses
and Stackhouse counters with an outside leg kick.
Stackhouse pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
The fight stays on the outside here - Stackhouse looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Stackhouse will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Stackhouse gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
The Bomber fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

Stackhouse throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent The Bomber stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Stackhouse stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Stackhouse wants it to stay on the feet.
Stackhouse lands a really nice looking cross but The Bomber seems unphased.

A looping hook to the body misses from Stackhouse. The Bomber does a little dance to reset his feet.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

The Bomber is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
The Bomber avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
John The Bomber seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
The fight stays on the outside here - Stackhouse looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Stackhouse fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
The Bomber will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

The Bomber closes the distance and clinches up with Stackhouse, looking for a takedown. The Bomber pushes Stackhouse against the cage but Stackhouse circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Stackhouse lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and The Bomber has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from The Bomber and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Stackhouse can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as The Bomber controls the pace.

The Bomber decides to stand up, so the ref orders Stackhouse to his feet.
The Bomber shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Stackhouse as he avoids it easily.

The Bomber shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

The Bomber shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Stackhouse manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

The Bomber looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
The Bomber seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Stackhouse does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

A relieved looking John The Bomber thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
