The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Balboa misses with a jab to the body
and Balboa takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Balboa throws a body kick despite being completely out of range
and Kane counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Balboa moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.

and Kane counters with an inside leg kick.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Kane moves into range and throws a big uppercut. OH! Balboa goes down! Can Kane finish him!?

Kane postures up from his opponent's guard, before exploding into some vicious ground and pound! Balboa covers up, he's hurt! Kane keeps throwing the strikes, glancing at the referee... Will he stop it?? One more big shot from Kane and the ref steps in to end the fight! Kane can't hide his delight as he celebrates with his corner.
