Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, James Glass and Chris Edwards.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

White rushes Hodgins and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
White throws a head punch that misses.
Hodgins tries to pull guard but White won't allow it.
White softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage.
Hodgins is trying to pull guard but White has him pressed against the cage.

White breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Hodgins shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Hodgins was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.

Hodgins working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet.

Hodgins has control of White's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and White regains control of the situation pretty easily.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Hodgins looking for a guillotine from mount but White is having none of it.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Hodgins with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.

Hodgins goes for an armbar but he's not got it… White turns into him and now he's in Hodgins's guard.

White wants to stand but Hodgins is controlling his posture from full guard.

White gets to his feet. Hodgins looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Hodgins misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.

Hodgins ducks under a wild hook from White.
White throws a nice inside leg kick.
Hodgins shoots for a double leg takedown but White sprawls well. He's pushed Hodgins's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

White stalks Hodgins and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Hodgins's face. Hodgins staggers backwards, shaken.
