The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A head kick from Fitzroy lands but Hatton takes it in his stride.
Hatton takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Fitzroy lands a front kick.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
A kick lands to the mid section there for Fitzroy.
Hatton looks gassed!
Fitzroy lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Hatton walks into a left hand.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Fitzroy.
Fitzroy rushes Hatton and presses him up against the cage.
Fitzroy throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Hattons head.
A nice right hand lands inside from Fitzroy.
Fitzroy breaks from the clinch.
Fitzroy turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Fitzroy thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Hatton if he has to take too many more of those.
Fitzroy scores with a kick to the midsection.
Fitzroy throws a body punch but Hatton moves out of range.
Fitzroy drops Hatton with a beautiful combination! Hatton stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Fitzroy is looking for the KO!
Hatton is rocked!
It looks like Billy Hatton has been cut.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Hatton walks right into a perfectly timed right hook and goes down hard! He's out cold! The ref cradles Hatton limp body while Fitzroy jumps on to the cage and waves to the roaring crowd. Wow that was just a brutal knockout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Obidiah Fitzroy!
