Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Dariusz Zawieski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Itchy Rash (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Dariusz Zawieski!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 6 - 0, fighting out of London, Itchy Rash!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Andrew Berry and William Gold.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zawieski shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Rash pinned against the cage. Rash gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

and Zawieski decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Rash's guard.
Rash keeping moving, preventing Zawieski from controlling successfully.
Zawieski connects with a couple of short punches.
Zawieski trying to control but Rash is working from the bottom.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Zawieski won't allow Rash to sweep him here.
Zawieski working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Zawieski wants to control from the top but Rash keeps moving.

Rash wants to stand and escape but Zawieski is having none of it.
Zawieski slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Rash is holding Zawieski down, trying to stall.

Rash is not content to let Zawieski control the position.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Rash can do anything to dispel that myth.

Zawieski is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Rash has escaped the position, nice work there.

Zawieski wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Rash, who protects the arm well.

Rash tries to bench press Zawieski off him but Zawieski keeps the position.
Rash managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Zawieski.
Rash is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Zawieski's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.
Rash is not content to let Zawieski control the position.
Zawieski thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.

Rash has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Zawieski is working away from the top position though.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Zawieski seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.
Rash is trying to maintain the position but Zawieski is very close to passing his half guard.
Rash is not content to let Zawieski control the position.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Zawieski stands up out of the half guard.
Rash shoots for a takedown but Zawieski saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Rash is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Zawieski pulls him back up using the underhooks.

Zawieski turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!

Rash takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.

Zawieski decides to stand up, so the ref orders Rash to his feet.
Zawieski is trying hard to land a takedown here. Rash sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Zawieski gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Rash to score an easy takedown into full guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Rash drops back, looking for a kneebar! Zawieski looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Zawieski looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Zawieski!
Rash is breathing heavily.
The ground and pound from Zawieski seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.

Zawieski advances to mount.

Zawieski jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Rash manages to avoid the submission attempt.
Zawieski cracks Rash with an elbow. That is naaassty.
Rash tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Zawieski has knee on belly and moves into mount.

Zawieski trying to control but Rash is having none of it.

Zawieski lands with some strikes.
Rash is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.

Rash tries to reverse the position but Zawieski maintains control.

BOOM! Zawieski connects with a massive shot to the dome!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Zawieski controlling the pace for now.
Zawieski tries to control but Rash wriggling away.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!

Rash shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Zawieski as he avoids it easily.
Zawieski misses with an attempted mid kick.
Rash closes the distance and clinches up with Zawieski, looking for a takedown. Rash pushes Zawieski against the cage but Zawieski circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

and Rash counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

Zawieski utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Rash postures up in Zawieski's guard and throws a big left but Zawieski blocks it.
Zawieski is looking to stand up but Rash isn't so interested in that idea.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Rash is looking to work some ground and pound but Zawieski has wrist control.
Zawieski manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Rash manages to get himself to full guard.
Rash wants to stand up but Zawieski is controlling him.
Zawieski is working Rash over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

Rash controls Zawieski momentarily but Zawieski frees himself.

Zawieski gets to his feet. Rash looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Itchy Rash seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Dariusz Zawieski has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Itchy Rash.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Rash is looking for a sweep. Zawieski is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Zawieski throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.

Zawieski is working for a submission of some sort.

Zawieski is nestled in close to Rash, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Rash really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Zawieski. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Zawieski is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
Itchy Rash has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Zawieski, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
