Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Beast Of The East (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Batou Otsuka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Otsuka has chosen Lithium Flower as his entrance music. Batou Otsuka will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Beast Of The East!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Batou Otsuka!
The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Yves DeLean and Gregory Folan.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

The East feints and as Otsuka raises his hands in defense, The East changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
The East trying to control the position from guard on top but Otsuka is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Otsuka avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
The East pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Otsuka is keeping the position for now.

The East got a little sloppy there for a moment and Otsuka has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, The East has managed to get both his arms back between Otsuka's legs - danger averted.

The East tries to free his leg and advance position but Otsuka is retaining full guard.

Otsuka is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Otsuka looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! The East has picked Otsuka up and slammed him! Otsuka can't keep hold of the triangle and The East manages to pass to side control!

The East throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage.
The East tries to advance to mount but Otsuka denies him.

The East is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Otsuka is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The East is refusing to be controlled, as Otsuka sits in half guard.
Otsuka is pressing down on The East's thigh, looking to free his foot. The East is holding on for now.
The East regains full guard. Nicely done.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Otsuka is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by The East.

Batou Otsuka seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Beast Of The East.
I think The East has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
