The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Fair is defended easily by Rook.
Rook throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Rook lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Fair backs up against the cage.
Rook misses with a few strikes there.

Rook moves into the clinch.
Fair fails to pull guard.
Rook tries to circle away but Fair has him pinned against the cage.
Rook effectively controlling the action here.

A short right from Rook on the inside.
Rook misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Still in the clinch, Rook scores with a nice short uppercut.

Fair manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.

Fair is looking to sinch up a triangle. Rook throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Fair's body to avoid the submission. Fair has instead reached around Rook's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Fair arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
