Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Matthew Clark (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kadir Sahin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Clark might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Ludacris-Get Back. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Wagner Zegers and Nard Betker.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sahin darts in trying to clinch
and Clark counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Clark shoots in but no luck this time.
Sahin throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
Clark misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Sahin.

Sahin lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Clark scores with a crisp jab that stopped Sahin in his tracks.
Sahin stuffs the takedown attempt from Clark. Clark gets slowly back to his feet.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Kadir Sahin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Sahin lands a leg kick that knocks Clark off balance momentarily.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Kadir Sahin spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
