and Macmillan counters with a head kick that drops Borges to the mat! Borges scrambles across the canvas and gets back to his feet, still wobbly!

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Borges fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Macmillan avoids it really well and circles away.
Macmillan throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Borges dives in and grabs Macmillan's left leg, looking for a takedown. Macmillan pushes down on Borges's head and hops out.

Dominic Macmillan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

and Macmillan counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

Borges drops back, looking for a kneebar! Macmillan looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Macmillan looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Macmillan!

Let's hope that Macmillan has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Borges looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
