Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sergeant Peppers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Aleksander Ivanov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Peppers comes to the cage accompanied by Wanton Song -- Led Zepplin. Ivanov comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Step Into A World (Rapture's Delight) kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ivanov throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Peppers stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Peppers fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Ivanov has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Ivanov throws a right hand that Peppers ducks under and follows up with a left that Peppers also avoids with ease.
Peppers throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Ivanov with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Peppers to score with a decent uppercut.
Peppers does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

Ivanov working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Peppers doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Peppers manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Ivanov has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Ivanov and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
