Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Paul Daley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Allister Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Paul Daley has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Paul Daley!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Allister Jones!
The judges for this bout are Illya Tyunina, Viktor Lagutenko and Dmitry Maklakov.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones lands a nice looking body kick.
Jones showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Daley.
Daley shoots in but no luck this time.
Jones closes the distance and clinches up with Daley, looking for a takedown. Jones pushes Daley against the cage but Daley circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Daley shoots in looking for a takedown. Jones tries to sprawl out of it but Daley keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Jones manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Jones wants to clinch up but Daley keeps it at a distance.
Jones connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Jones throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Daley's waist but Daley gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Jones off to one side.
Jones fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Paul Daley has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Allister Jones.
Daley shoots for a double leg takedown but Jones sprawls well. He's pushed Daley's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Daley ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Daley no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Daley bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Jones's guard.
Daley throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Jones works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Jones wants to get back to his feet but Daley is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Jones stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Jones wants it to stay on the feet.
Daley wants to clinch up but Jones keeps it at a distance.
Jones lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Daley pulls guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Daley is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Jones defends well.

Jones really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Daley. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Jones stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Daley swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Daley has his foot on Jones's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Jones works his way back into a safe position though.

Jones gets to his feet - Daley follows without any prompting.

Jones clinches with his opponent.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Jones tries to pull guard but Daley won't allow it.

Jones has an active guard here but Daley has managed to pass into half guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Daley shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Jones sprawls well. Jones wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Daley gets slowly back to his feet.

and Jones holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Jones has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Daley avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Jones jumps guard but Daley turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Jones controls Daley momentarily but Daley frees himself.

Daley stands up and waves to Jones to follow him.
Daley leaves Jones with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Daley dives in and grabs Jones's left leg, looking for a takedown. Jones pushes down on Daley's head and hops out.

Daley throws a wild body kick that Jones sees coming a mile off.

Jones drives through and clinches with Daley against the cage.
Daley is trying to pull guard but Jones turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.

Daley tries to break the clinch but Jones is controlling the position.
Jones fails to pull guard.
Daley goes for a takedown attempt but Jones pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Jones throws a series of punches but Daley avoids them all with ease.
Allister Jones seems to be getting the better of the standup.

The fight moves into the clinch position.

Daley jumps guard and drags Jones to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Daley is striking off his back. Jones thinks nothing of it though and passes easily into half guard.
Daley is looking to control Jones's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Daley avoid being mounted?
Paul Daley has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Allister Jones is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Daley flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.

And that's the end of the fight!
That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Paul Daley.
I think Jones has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
