The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mostrag misses with a combination
enabling Bauer to counter with a crisp jab.

It looks like Michal Mostrag has been cut.
Bauer closes this distance looking for a takedown but Mostrag circles away.
Bauer shoots in for a takedown but Mostrag shows good takedown defense.
Bauer throws the left hand but Mostrag avoids the punch easily.
Mostrag smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Bauer feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Mostrags jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

No luck with that takedown attempt from Bauer.
Michal Mostrag has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of John Bauer.
Bauer throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

No joy there for Mostrag, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Bauer throws a hook but Mostrag avoids it easily.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Bauer enables Mostrag to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Bauer manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
