The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sharp lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Green at a distance.
Sharp changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Green tries to avoid it but Sharp manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Green to the ground. Green escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Green avoids the body shot from Sharp.
Green fails in his attempt to clinch.
Green fails to land the takedown.
Sharp jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Green checks a leg kick.
Sharp fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Sharp misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Green displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Sharp.
Green wants to clinch up but Sharp keeps it at a distance.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Green's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Sharp connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Green scrambles back to his feet.
Sharp shoots in but doesn't get the takedown

and Green holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Daryl Sharp. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Green gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.

It looks like Daryl Sharp has been cut.
Sharp looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
