The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Cigano closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Kolishakoff quickly recovers to half guard.
Cigano scoring with strikes to the body and head.
Cigano throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Kolishakoff is trying to maintain the position but Cigano is very close to passing his half guard.
Kolishakoff keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
Kolishakoff works his way to full guard. Good work.
Cigano postures up in Kolishakoff's guard and throws a big left but Kolishakoff blocks it.
Cigano prevents Kolishakoff from getting back to his feet.

Cigano drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Kolishakoff dives on top into guard.
Kolishakoff wants to control from the top but Cigano keeps moving.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Cigano holds on and takes a little breather.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Cigano is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Cigano maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Kolishakoff could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Cigano has cracked it and Kolishakoff is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Cigano!
