The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Alessio gets caught flat footed, as Reyes shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Reyes trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Reyes working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Alessio is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Alessio escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Reyes gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Alessio looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Reyes is defending well. Alessio quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Reyes has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Alessio celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
