Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between John Gites (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Janusz Niekonieczny (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Niekonieczny has chosen Metallica - Ride The Lightning as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

With a record of 14 - 5 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Janusz Niekonieczny!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Timothy Bukovac and Don Winkell.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gites moves out of range of the strikes.
John Gites seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Niekonieczny closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Gites's guard.
Gites bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Niekonieczny's guard.

Niekonieczny working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Gites doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Gites manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Gites throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Niekonieczny blocks it with crossed arms.

Gites ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Gites no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

That was a close second round but I would say that John Gites will probably get the nod.
