Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 15 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Hector Wynd!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 21 - 19 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Punchy McPunches!
The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Steve Smith and Robert Douchet.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wynd ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Wynd walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Wynd walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
The fighters circling - Wynd throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
McPunches digs a good body shot into Wynd's ribs.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Wynd creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
The pace really dropping off here, momentarily.

McPunches has had enough of the clinch but Wynd keeps him there for the moment.

Wynd has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
