Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dan Saunders (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and George Mapompo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Dan Saunders!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, George Mapompo!
The judges for this bout are Leandro Rodrigues, Alexandre Firmino and Thiago Cunha.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mapompo looks to score with a jab to the body but Saunders is just out of range.
Mapompo tries to clinch up but Saunders circles away and keeps his distance.
Saunders tries a head kick but it misses.
Mapompo takes a swing at Saunders's ribcage but misses.
Saunders misses with a double jab
and Mapompo counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Mapompo throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
George Mapompo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Mapompo lands with a hook. Saunders tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Mapompo throws a sloppy head kick and Saunders moves out of range easily.

Mapompo lands a left and a right that send Saunders crashing to the mat, dazed. Mapompo thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Saunders is rocked!

It looks like Dan Saunders has been cut.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Mapompo is throwing a storm of strikes! Right hook, left hook and follows it up with a spinning back fist! Saunders hits the canvas like a rag doll! And just like that, this one is over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:46 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). George Mapompo!
George Mapompo spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
