The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Raiser tries for a takedown but Firmo sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Firmo is pushing Raiser's head away, looking to escape. Raiser manages to hold on to the position though.

Raiser thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Firmo leaves Raiser with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Horrible takedown by Raiser or perhaps it was just good defense by Firmo which made him look bad.
